How to make a plant green tea latte

Hello guys^^ One day I saw a really awesome milk tea made by one of the local store in Sydney called "Tea Plus" where the milk tea actually looked like a pot of plant! I always loved to challenge myself to re-make food or drinks that I saw in a restaurant or cafe, and so here I'm going to show you my version of making a plant green tea latte^^

The idea of this drink is that it comes in different layers. The bottom layer is the green tea flavor latte covered by a really thick layer of foam. The thick foam would then be able to hold another layer full of small Oreo crumbs which represented soil/dirt. And finally on top of the Oreo crumbs (very important LOL), there would be a mint leaf which represented the sprout of a plant. Pretty awesome right?? XD Well now you can make one too!!!

Serving:
1 person

Ingredients:
Green tea powder .......... 1.5 tsp
Milk .......... 200ml
Oreo .......... 6 single biscuits
Sugar .......... 1 tsp (Optional)
Mint leaf .......... 1 small piece
Hot water .......... approx 2 tsp (add water until all green tea powder melts)

Methods:
1. Add the green tea powder into a cup through a sifter.
2. Add hot water and stir gently until all the green tea powder melts, and it shall turn into a smooth texture.
3. Put the Oreo biscuits into a resealable bag, then use a roller to crush them into crumbs (Make sure the crumbs are in very small and fine pieces, otherwise they will sink into the milk).
4. Pour the milk into a small pot and heat it on medium heat.
5. Add in sugar (optional)
6. Turn off the heat when you see small bubbles appearing on the edge of the milk (do not fully boil the milk).
7. Froth the milk for 30 seconds and make sure the foam is very thick, otherwise it will not be able to hold the weight of the Oreo crumbs.
8. Pour the milk into the cup and stir a bit.
9. Scoop out the foam at the bottom of the pot and pour into the cup.
10. Sprinkle on the Oreo crumbs to cover all the foam.
11. Place a small piece of mint leave on top on the Oreo crumbs (can be anywhere).

YAY! All done! Time to enjoy this hot drink^^ Don't forget to make some for your friends and family to try as well XP

*You can replace green tea flavor with chocolate, taro, banana etc. Also, you can choose to use a clear cup so that the color of the drink will be showing.
