Thailand 2015 trip - Day 13 and 14 (Arriving Phuket, Kalima Resort and Spa, FantaSea theme park, Simon Cabaret show)

As our journey in Bangkok came to an end, we flew to Phuket to finish off our Thailand trip on a more relaxing way. We arrived Phuket in the afternoon on day 13, and it so much cooler than Bangkok! The sea breeze was so nice, and we couldn't wait to be lazy for the next couple of days.

We have booked Kalima Resort and Spa to stay in Phuket. It's actually a little bit far from the main section like Patong Beach, mainly because we wanted some quietness and peace after running around in Bangkok for so long.

This was the view from our balcony, it was so beautiful that we just sat there and did nothing for an hour or so after arrival.

Later we went on a quick dip in the pool. It was so amusing that they had a bar at the centre of the pool, where you could just order a drink in your swimwear LOL.

For dinner, we decided to just eat at the hotel in Malika Terrace. This restaurant was located at a really good spot where we could see a perfect sunset. At this moment, we were so glad that we've decided to plan Phuket as part of our trip.

Here's a steak for hubby, and I was so happy he has gained his appetite back since the sickness.

I had some spaghetti and garlic bread, the portion was actually quite big that made me so full.

You can't say you came to Thailand without those coconuts right? Here's one for us with a pretty little umbrella ^^

On our way back to the room, we saw this amazing view of the pool area. The lighting was arranged really well, it made us felt like we have dropped in our dreamland.

So far we have loved our hotel and the staffs here were so friendly. The main thing we do miss about here later on was the view of the ocean from our balcony, and all the nice chat we had while relaxing there.

Once when it got completely dark, we hopped on a tour to FantaSea theme park. It was said the show at FantaSea was a MUST-SEE in Phuket, so we both got quite excited on the way there.

I loved how FantaSea was full of bright and colourful lights, it almost felt like a festival.

There was a mini stage around the middle of the park, and we happened to made it there just before the mini show started.

It was mainly like a welcome show, where people dressed up in fancy costumes and danced on the stage. The music was very nice too, and they made the audiences pretty happy.

They had a lot of shops inside the park as well, some even had carnival games in them. Again even the interior decorations were very colourful, and it was pretty cool just to look around in them.

At last, we have arrived at the FantaSea show entrance and people already started lining up (well, we all have seat number so don't worry about the order of entrance LOL). There weren't any photos allowed inside, and all cameras and phones had to be handed in before we entered the final entrance. Though let me tell you...the show was absolutely STUNNING! It was a combination of real animals, performers, laser and other visual effects etc. There was a story line as well, and the venue was HUGE. I suppose we were lucky that we sat at the front row near the aisle, so we got to see a bunch of elephants walking pass us...LOL. We'd totally recommend this show to anyone who are visiting Phuket, it was something that leaves a big impression.'

On the next day, we headed down to Jungceylon Mall with the free shuttle from our hotel. We didn't take any photos though, but it was a nice mall to hang out. They had some supermarkets, small stalls and a lot of international brands in there.

At night time, we went to see the Phuket Simon Cabaret show. Of course, how could we leave Thailand without a sight of the ladyboys?

They didn't allow cameras inside, so here are all the photos we could take after the show. We both enjoyed the show very much and wouldn't mind to watch it all over again. It was really entertaining as there were a lot of different characters, some were really hilarious that made us laugh so much. They performed with songs in different languages, and danced in a wide range of stunning costumes. Even from a female perspective, I have to say I was amazed at their beautiful faces and body figures. Now that was such a good night to remember, and we couldn't stop talking about them afterwards :)

It seemed rather fast that 2 days of Phuket trip was already over. Infact I just realised that we have spent a lot of times just being lazy at the resort as well. We tried mini golf, in-room lunch and gone to the gym etc, everything was just so comfortable and relaxing.

There are only 2 more days to go! I hope you guys enjoyed reading our Thailand trip blog posts so far :) Shall see you next time!
